About the position

Connect America is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to join our dynamic Enterprise Sales team, focusing on Providers. This role is pivotal in driving the sales process for all Connect America solutions, which includes a variety of responsibilities such as prospecting, qualification, ROI development, value demonstration, negotiation, contracting, and ultimately closing opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess direct selling and solutioning expertise, demonstrating a strong commitment to addressing client challenges related to growth, affordability, outcomes, and overall experience. In this position, the Account Executive will be accountable for building a robust pipeline of new business opportunities. This will involve targeting and prospecting potential clients while collaborating closely with marketing and the broader sales organization to generate leads. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and executing a growth strategy tailored to their assigned prospects, ensuring that they meet their growth targets. Collaboration with leadership, marketing, product, and operations teams will be essential to improve win rates and ensure successful implementations of our solutions. The role requires a proactive approach to maintaining a healthy pipeline, with a target of having at least three times the opportunities compared to sales targets. The Account Executive will need to demonstrate subject matter expertise on our products and industry trends, cultivate consultative relationships with clients, and lead the sales process from initial engagement through to closing. This includes utilizing discovery and solution selling skills, developing ROI presentations, and participating in trade shows and industry events to enhance visibility and engagement with potential clients.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for new business growth in assigned client market
  • Assumes responsibility for assigned sales revenue goals
  • Maintains a robust pipeline (3X+ of target) of opportunities
  • Actively prospects and qualify new business
  • Demonstrates subject matter expertise on products, trends, pressures
  • Cultivates consultative relationship with clients
  • Leads sales process and client engagement throughout the sale
  • Utilize discovery and solution selling skills
  • Owns ROI/Proforma and presentation development
  • Develops and executes individual business plan with assigned prospects
  • Participates in trade shows and other industry events
  • Provides competitive intelligence to the organization
  • Timely entry of opportunity updates and status in CRM tool
  • Collaboration for functional leaders in business and executive leadership
  • Collect feedback on deals and communicates issues or concerns in solution-orientated approach
  • Utilizes deal reviews process and close plans to improve win rates and accelerate deals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
  • 1-2+ years of sales experience in healthcare, selling clinical or technology solutions to providers
  • Successful developed and closed deals with annual sales target of half a million or more
  • Superior communication, written, oral, phone, webinar, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel minimum 25%
