About the position

The Enterprise Account Executive at Converge Technology Solutions is a full-time role focused on uncovering and winning new business opportunities while supporting and growing existing accounts. The position involves cross-selling a variety of technology solutions, including hardware, software, cloud, and managed services. The Account Executive will engage in sales administrative activities and collaborate with various teams to ensure successful project scoping and proposal development.

Responsibilities

  • Execute sales strategy by identifying and qualifying customer needs and positioning appropriate solutions.
  • Increase sales and market share through marketing, face-to-face meetings, and vendor networking.
  • Understand customers' pain points and needs to create strong relationships that drive sales and repeat business.
  • Work with the sales support team to ensure accurate quotes and order processing.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to scope projects accurately and propose the best solutions.
  • Maintain relationships with executive-level customer contacts within IT and business line owners.
  • Develop proposals and prepare sales information for customers.
  • Participate in ongoing sales training to improve skills and maintain manufacturer sales certifications.
  • Contribute to company efforts to enhance the quality of the sales organization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technology sales experience and industry knowledge.
  • Experience selling technology vendors such as Dell, IBM, HPE, Cisco, Microsoft, Nvidia, Crowdstrike, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Zscaler, Forcepoint.
  • Experience selling technology services including cloud support, managed services, storage, network infrastructure, artificial intelligence, integrations, migrations, full-cycle implementations, and cybersecurity.
  • Ability to build business executive relationships in the technology sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
