About the position

The Enterprise Account Manager at Orbit Irrigation is responsible for enhancing account management, project management, and strategy/process management to drive sustainability and profitability in sales. This role involves engaging with stakeholders at all levels, managing complex duties, and articulating business needs to ensure organizational effectiveness. The position emphasizes the importance of innovation, continuous improvement, and strong relationships within the team and with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop growth strategies for account management.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including account managers and customers.
  • Collaborate with the team to facilitate business needs, including margin and sales analysis.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Prepare and assist Account Managers with company records, contracts, and legal documentation.
  • Develop sales strategies, including programs, cross-selling, and special buys.
  • Act as a client and internal team advocate to improve communication and execution.
  • Plan and lead specialized projects from ideation to completion.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with requirements and deadlines.
  • Prepare and maintain status/progress reports of relevant information.
  • Interact continually with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Review efficiencies of current business processes and implement improvements.
  • Support and assist in developing short- and long-term organizational strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university.
  • 5+ years of sales and management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license.
