About the position

The Enterprise Account Manager at the National Safety Council (NSC) plays a vital role in managing and nurturing relationships with Fortune 450 accounts. This position is focused on retaining and growing enterprise accounts that are essential to the organization's success. The role involves developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts
  • Developing a trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Communicating clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecasting and tracking key account metrics
  • Identifying and growing opportunities within territory and collaborating with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
  • Assisting with high-severity requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Understanding category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the status of accounts and transactions
  • Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximize profits
  • Developing new business with existing clients and/or identifying areas of improvement to exceed sales quotas

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
  • Six years of related experience
  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
