About the position

The Enterprise Applications Development Lead at NETGEAR is responsible for overseeing the development and support of Oracle Applications, particularly focusing on Oracle Release 12. This role requires a strong background in Oracle Applications Development, including the creation of extensions and reports, as well as managing offshore development teams. The position emphasizes collaboration with business analysts and adherence to coding and release management standards, ensuring that the development team meets the evolving needs of the organization while maintaining system integrity and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform application support development and enhancements for Oracle Financials, Value Chain, HR Modules and related integrations and customizations.
  • Interface with Business Analysts to review functional specifications and collaborate on technical designs with the offshore Development Team.
  • Design solutions and deliver technical documentation for new Application extensions and reports.
  • Develop and perform unit testing of new Application extensions and reports.
  • Provide monitoring and support of existing extensions, reports and interfaces, including resolution of program bugs and development of enhancements.
  • Ensure adherence to NETGEAR IT coding and release management standards by all development team members.
  • Perform code reviews and identify areas for improvement in development processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolution in problem-solving.
  • Work with Oracle Support to facilitate resolution of Oracle Service Requests.
  • Manage offshore development teams and facilitate daily conference calls.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of overall development experience with recent experience in Oracle e-Business Suite Finance, Value Chain, HR Modules.
  • Strong SQL*PLUS, PL/SQL, Forms, Oracle Workflow, and XML Publisher skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle Financials/Distribution modules data/table structures.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) and Java.
  • Experience with Oracle's Sub Ledger Accounting Modules, Oracle Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, and General Ledger.
  • Experience with migration to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is a plus.
  • Expertise in Oracle's AIM methodology or equivalent ERP implementation methodology.
  • Experience working with both on-premise and various SaaS/Cloud based applications.
  • Experience with data integration tools such as Informatica, Oracle SOA Suite, and Web Methods is a plus.
  • Amazon AWS experience is a plus.
  • AI experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with SOX Audit management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills.
