About the position

The Enterprise Architect (Product Development & Regulatory Compliance) at Olympus Corporation supports the Lead Enterprise Architect in defining and maintaining the Enterprise Architecture roadmap. This role ensures that design decisions align with Olympus' strategy while minimizing system risks associated with complexity and instability. The architect collaborates with various stakeholders to establish processes, standards, and governance for Enterprise Architecture, driving consistency in decision-making and quality of outputs.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Architect in defining a compelling architectural vision and a clear business-led technology strategy for the Product Development & Regulatory Compliance domain.
• Assist in the integration of technology solutions across Research and Development, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Management, and Medical & Scientific Affairs.
• Collaborate with lead architects and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into IT architecture solutions.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT architecture documentation and domain reference architectures.
• Support the implementation of integrated systems that streamline processes and enhance collaboration between departments.
• Research emerging technologies and trends relevant to the Product Development & Regulatory Compliance domain and assist in evaluating new technologies for operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years' experience as an Enterprise Architect with touchpoints in R&D, Quality Management, and regulatory compliance.
• Extensive experience with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman.
• Broad experience in software engineering and design architecture.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the Medical Technology industry or Life Science Consulting.
• Certification in architectural frameworks.
• Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes.
