About the position

The Enterprise Architect at Withum is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technology solutions that align with the firm's business goals. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the coherence and quality of IT architecture while adhering to firm regulations. Responsibilities

  • Design and establish a modular, state-of-the-art digital and IT architecture that is flexible and scalable with business needs.
  • Collaborate with the CIO to design the digital strategy and guide IT investment decisions.
  • Lead and support Enterprise Architects activities that strategically guide business and operating models, people, processes, and technology.
  • Create alignment between business and IT by working closely with strategy and business leaders.
  • Clarify strategic intentions and address stakeholders' questions regarding business outcomes and risks.
  • Help leaders understand and operationalize existing and emerging technologies to optimize business models.
  • Act as design authority by developing standards and guidelines for service delivery teams.
  • Develop and maintain the target architecture across Data, Applications, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security.
  • Set up and maintain a central EA repository for documenting architecture and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance IT capabilities.
  • Lead architecture review boards, governance committees, and project teams.
  • Educate and provide guidance on best practices and standards to the engineering team.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT architecture, design, and development, preferably in a large organization.
  • Management experience in business transformation, strategic planning, and business process management.
  • Experience in facilitating multi-disciplined, high-performance, and agile teams.
  • Knowledge in designing enterprise-wide application, data, infrastructure (Azure & AWS), and cyber security landscapes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project and product facilitation and organizational change management.
  • Certification in one or more enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF, ITIL, Zachman, or FEAF.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with knowledge of common Enterprise Architect frameworks and artifacts.
  • A solid understanding of various IT domains, such as applications, data, infrastructure, security, and integration.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • High level of analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful IT solutions that meet business needs.
