We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect who will partner with business leaders to continually define and refine our technology strategy to align with our business strategy and to disrupt from within. Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key business and technology partners
• Provide technical leadership on strategic enterprise initiatives to guide implementations
• Create new business insight and perspective, clarify and illuminate strategic goals and strategies, guide strategy implementation, analyze business capabilities and identify synergistic opportunities
• Understand business objectives, research potential strategies, architect and design solutions, reference architectures, and patterns
• Participate in business and technology strategic planning processes and guide business capability and technical capability initiative roadmaps
• Establish future-state enterprise-centric IT architectures that consider business, information, application, infrastructure and security perspectives and manage current state architectures in addressing technical debt to an acceptable level
• Advocate for simple, standard, centralized and automated solutions to business needs based on Zions guiding philosophy and architecture guardrails
• Mature the Enterprise Architecture practice horizontally across banking domains and across our core banking and deposit systems
• Champion and drive M&A activities and guide affiliate migration to core and centralized systems as they are warranted
• Stay current on technologies, technology trends and directions, and best practices
• Champion and facilitate innovation

Requirements

• Proven track record of influencing change and leading strategic enterprise IT initiatives to achieve well-defined business objectives.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and 6+ years of enterprise architecture or IT leadership in a highly regulated environment. A combination of education & experience may meet requirements.
• Deep hands-on technical expertise in multiple technical domains.
• Ability to listen for understanding, resolve conflicts, negotiate compromise, and collaboratively lead business leaders and project teams to optimal solutions.
• Understanding of information architecture concepts that enable well-integrated transactional, analytical, and collaborative systems.
• Ability to cultivate a shared strategic vision, articulate clear business objectives, and align the organization to achieve them.
• Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business leaders and technical experts at all organizational levels.

Nice-to-haves

• Banking or other Financial Services experience
• Experience with core banking systems such as TCS BaNCS, FIS, Fiserv, and ACI Worldwide
• Understanding of Agile methodology
• TOGAF and BIAN experience
• Experience with EA repository software (BizzDesign, Orbus, etc.)
• Strong understanding of SOX Controls/Reporting including Risk Management Frameworks (SOC, RCSA and FFIEC Controls), and Fraud Disclosures
• Exposure to cloud based management and operations
