About the position

The Enterprise Architect position at Contact Government Services (CGS) is a senior-level role focused on supporting the IT infrastructure of a large-scale government enterprise. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in various organizational processes and frameworks, including PMI, ITIL, CISSP, SDLC, Agile, ISSO, Six Sigma, and CMMI. This role involves strategic business mission planning and IT investment, requiring exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with organizational leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support the IT business mission of a large-scale government enterprise's IT infrastructure.
• Collect information for strategic business mission planning and IT investment.
• Provide a holistic view of the enterprise from different perspectives for system owners, planners, designers, developers, and subcontractors.
• Demonstrate engineering abilities in various technologies including Windows Desktop applications, SQL Server, VMware, and Cloud services.
• Provide technical engineering practices recommendations and enhancements from prior successful systems integrations.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge and experience in PMI, ITIL, CISSP, SDLC, Agile, ISSO, Six Sigma, and CMMI.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with various EA frameworks, including Zachman and TOGAF.
• Demonstrated engineering abilities in Windows Desktop applications, remote access, MS Windows 7, SQL Server, VMware, and EMC.
• Understanding and utilization of ITIL, project management (PMI), and Agile methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with VMware server and VDI.
• Knowledge of PKI and MS Windows 2003 Terminal Server.
• Familiarity with Cisco UCS and Broadworks.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
