About the position

The Enterprise Architect role is a contract position focused on leading the design and implementation of enterprise solutions within an organization. The position requires extensive experience in IT and technology, particularly in enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies. The architect will analyze existing systems, improve business processes, and ensure compliance with governance and security standards while managing organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Implement enterprise solutions and define technical architecture.
• Analyze and design infrastructure and enterprise integration solutions.
• Provide business architecture analysis to improve efficiency.
• Assist stakeholders with build vs buy decisions.
• Review and develop policies related to existing technology.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Manage organizational change and transition to future state architectures.

Requirements

• 10 years of progressively responsible experience in IT/technology.
• 7 years of experience with TOGAF.
• 7 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC).
• Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF.
• In-depth understanding of application, data, and infrastructure architectures.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies like cloud computing, DevOps, microservices, and IoT.

• Familiarity with business processes and workflows.
• Skill in analyzing complexities of existing technology.
