About the position

The Enterprise Architect with Healthcare Payer Domain Experience will leverage a combination of business process analysis and technical expertise to develop enterprise architectural deliverables. This role involves leading project teams, analyzing systems integration requirements, and ensuring that architecture aligns with business process needs. The position requires close collaboration with various stakeholders and aims to guide advanced technological ideas into final products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop enterprise architectural deliverables that identify and describe relationships among functions, data, applications, and technology.
  • Lead project teams composed of Business Analysts, Systems Engineers, and Research Specialists.
  • Analyze systems and technology integration requirements across multiple applications and organizations.
  • Communicate and work closely with process and system owners, IT management, peers, and technical staff.
  • Develop advanced technological ideas and guide their development into final products.
  • Provide technical guidance and make decisions regarding IT designs and engineering.
  • Maintain standards for system documentation.
  • Develop and implement enterprise-wide and cross-functional integration solutions.
  • Research and recommend new industry IT models and management strategies.
  • Monitor, benchmark, and report progress and performance of systems management and service levels.
  • Conduct technology reviews and audits to ensure compliance with architecture principles and standards.
  • Interface with external business partners, vendors, and subcontractors on interoperability issues.
  • Promote technology security.
  • Participate in architecture assessments and reviews.

Requirements

  • Experience in the healthcare payer domain is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and practices.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex systems and technology integration requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with IT strategy and capability roadmap development.
