About the position
Wells Fargo is seeking an AI Platform Product Manager to lead the development of significant product capabilities on the Enterprise AI/ML platform. This role focuses on enhancing the user experience for internal users, enabling data scientists, engineers, and business users to effectively build and deploy AI solutions. The Product Manager will manage cross-functional teams and ensure alignment of product features with strategic business goals, while also monitoring the performance of AI models and platform components.
Responsibilities
- Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the AI platform's internal user experience.
- Understand the needs of data scientists, ML engineers, and application developers, translating those needs into user-centric platform capabilities.
- Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap that outlines key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into platform requirements.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and deliver the AI platform, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Monitor the performance of deployed AI models and platform components, using metrics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 7+ years of data product or data management experience.
- 3+ years of new product development experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Customer Journey Mapping and Product Modeling.
- 3+ years of leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring.
Nice-to-haves
- A Master's degree or higher in operations research, applied statistics, economics, computer science, electrical engineering or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience with design, implementation and governance experience with Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing or Machine Learning architecture.
- 3+ years of configuration experience with Cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP or MS Azure.
- 3+ years of experience creating and implementing strategic plans and roadmaps at the executive level for enterprise-wide business initiatives.
- Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience.
- Strong negotiation and leadership abilities.
