About the position

Drive Auto is seeking an experienced seller with expertise in digital marketing and audience targeting specifically for the automotive industry. The role involves prospecting and closing business with local Tier 3 dealerships, while also leveraging existing contacts within the auto industry. This remote position requires in-person client meetings and occasional overnight travel, with a focus on generating uncapped commissions on closed and retained revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, close, retain, and grow new business through personal efforts and in-person meetings.
  • Follow up on company-generated leads to close and retain business.
  • Create custom packages and solutions for clients based on their business needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure sales and service excellence for all owned accounts.
  • Track revenue-generating activities within the CRM (Salesforce) and provide sales outlooks and revenue forecasts.
  • Engage in occasional overnight travel to meet clients and attend conferences and company meetings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of automotive industry experience, preferably with a focus on local dealerships.
  • 4+ years of experience in digital media/marketing.
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience within the automotive industry.
  • Experience using CRM software, with Salesforce experience being a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working within a dealership is a plus.
  • Certifications in digital marketing are a plus.
  • Knowledge of automotive-related customer data platforms and marketing platforms is preferred.
  • Experience with IHS Polk data or similar is a plus.
