About the position

Procore is seeking a Customer Success Engineer to enhance the success of our Enterprise/Strategic customers. In this pivotal role, you will act as the product champion for Procore, serving as a subject matter expert dedicated to ensuring that our customers successfully adopt and derive significant business performance improvements from their investment in Procore's software solutions. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving the operational efficiency and effectiveness of our construction clients by connecting them to a global platform designed for their needs. As a Customer Success Engineer, you will guide organizations in understanding best practices related to construction technology and the myriad business benefits that Procore can offer. This position requires a collaborative spirit, creativity, and a driven mindset, all of which are essential in an environment that values openness, optimism, and ownership. You will utilize your consultative approach and in-depth knowledge of the construction industry alongside Procore's software platforms to provide clients with tailored recommendations aimed at maximizing the value of their Procore technology. Additionally, you will identify other Procore products that could further benefit your clients. Your role will involve close collaboration with various teams, including Sales, Professional Services, Support, Product, and Marketing, to ensure a seamless experience for our customers. Successful candidates will possess a passion for both construction and technology, and will be eager to join a team that is committed to driving customer success and satisfaction. This position can be performed remotely from any US location or from our offices in Carpinteria, CA, Tampa, FL, or Austin, TX. We are looking for candidates who can join our team immediately!

Responsibilities

  • Make data-driven recommendations to customers on optimizing the value of Procore based on customer analytics and industry best practices.
  • Craft value-based presentations that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of the Procore platform.
  • Provide product roadmap and product release updates to customers to ensure they benefit from our leading-edge technology.
  • Participate in product demonstrations and coordinate multiple technical resources, both internal and external.
  • Serve as a technical account manager by providing the highest level of responsiveness and customer service to clients through clear and effective communication.
  • Foster a positive team culture by supporting and mentoring fellow team members.
  • Collaborate with all levels of the Procore organization to develop best practices and drive Procore's evolution as a market leader.
  • Develop a mastery of Procore's products, professional services, and industry best practices.
  • Travel up to 50% to client sites, industry events, and other Procore offices.

Requirements

  • A passion for construction and technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science preferred.
  • 8+ years of Customer Success, Professional Services, or Technical Pre-Sales experience.
  • 8+ years of expertise in the construction industry preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude to master Procore's product offerings, business model, services, and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders on time-sensitive projects.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, both in-person and through virtual meetings, and in writing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to synthesize relevant and impactful intelligence from ambiguous data.
  • Experience acting as a technology evangelist and promoter of modernizing the construction industry is a plus.
  • Understanding of the construction industry across different verticals (general contracting, subcontracting, real estate development, etc.) is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a construction Project Manager, Site Supervisor, Project Finance Manager, Estimator, or Project Engineer preferred.
  • Experience managing project construction, including bidding, procurement, RFIs, submittals, drawings, specifications, documents, schedule, quality control, and safety preferred.
  • A positive energy source in a fast-paced, diverse, forward-looking environment.
  • Experience related to Top ENR construction and/or Fortune 500 is preferred.
