About the position

The Enterprise Data Architect is responsible for creating and designing solutions that align with client standards for technology, ensuring high availability, security, resilience, and performance. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to make informed investment decisions, maintaining the integrity of end-to-end solutions, and addressing any solution debt incurred during transitions. The architect will also provide technical leadership by evaluating new technologies and enforcing architecture best practices.

Responsibilities

• Create solutions and design for projects to meet Client's standards for technology.
• Produce design options with associated costs, benefits, and risks to enable investment decisions.
• Work with product owners, architects, platform teams, and other project colleagues to agree on trade-offs between long-term and short-term goals.
• Responsible for the integrity of the end-to-end solution across Platforms, including transition states used to achieve the target state.
• Shape and estimate IT initiatives and feature team sprints, ensuring that component parts deliver against business outcomes.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Record any solution debt incurred during the transition phase of the solution and address it in future phases.
• Identify potential risks and challenges associated with proposed solutions and develop mitigation strategies.
• Participate in post-implementation reviews and provide feedback to improve future solution designs.
• Keep up with technological developments in the digital and integration area and evaluate their fit into the company's architecture.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and platforms to support the development and deployment of solutions.
• Support defining architecture best practices and standards and enforce them in project solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews to ensure compliance with established guidelines.

Requirements

• Strong Enterprise Architecture skills
• Proven experience in solution architecture, roadmaps, and architecture design and implementation.
• Experienced with data science platforms and DSML capabilities for model development, MLOps, etc.
• Knowledge of wider application technologies stack and infrastructure knowledge.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS, Informatica tools, Collibra, dbt, Qlik/BO, SAS, Cloudera.
