About the position

The Enterprise Data Architect at RELQ Technologies LLC is responsible for designing and implementing scalable data solutions and data pipelines. This role involves leading a team in developing automated data processes, mentoring junior technologists, and collaborating with product managers and scrum masters to ensure successful project delivery. The position requires a strong background in data engineering, cloud technologies, and enterprise data warehouse solutions, with a focus on utilizing AWS and Snowflake technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data applications and data pipelines.
• Lead the team in assisting with story creation and sprint deliverables.
• Develop automated Informatica data pipelines and ensure data quality.
• Work with enterprise data warehouse solutions and various databases.
• Mentor junior technologists and provide guidance on best practices.
• Implement data solutions with a focus on CICD, data security, and auditing processes.
• Collaborate with product managers and scrum masters to align on project goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of experience in data engineering and architecting data applications.
• 5 years of experience with RDBMS, Snowflake, and AWS technologies.
• 5 years of experience designing and implementing automated data solutions using SQL or Python.
• 7 years of experience leading and developing automated data pipelines with Informatica.
• 5 years of experience mentoring other technologists.
• 4 years of experience with software engineering best practices.

Nice-to-haves

• AWS or Informatica or Snowflake certification is preferred.
• Experience with Dataiku is a plus.
