About the position

The Enterprise Data Management Architect role at Med4Hire in Atlanta, GA, is a long-term contract position focused on designing, implementing, and managing the enterprise data management platform. This position supports Business Intelligence (BI), analytical, and reporting needs across various business functions. The architect will assess current data inventories and develop strategies to enhance data architecture, ensuring data assets are properly classified and secured.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement short-term and long-term data strategy roadmap.
• Create, maintain, and evolve data architecture blueprints and reference architecture.
• Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts for Enterprise Data Model and Architecture.
• Contribute to the experimentation and recommendation of industry tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with ETL, Data Warehouse, and Reporting teams to implement data quality measures.
• Establish standards and policies for data classification and security.
• Manage information security and data protection techniques.
• Optimize Oracle database systems for performance with DBAs.
• Facilitate integration of data visualization tools with various data sources.

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience architecting on-prem and cloud-based enterprise data solutions.
• Solid expertise in delivering end-to-end data solutions within an enterprise.
• Expertise in designing, building, and managing Enterprise Data Warehouse and BI platforms.
• Knowledge of data process modeling for enterprise data architecture.
• Knowledge of data governance framework and EDM framework.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, and Cognos Analytics.
• Knowledge of technology platforms such as MuleSoft and IBM DataStage.
• Knowledge of data management concepts including structured and unstructured data.

Nice-to-haves

• Relevant Industry certifications are a plus.
• Experience with PowerBI.
