Zurich North America is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to join our Data & Analytics team at our North American headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois. This position offers the flexibility to work both in the office and remotely, allowing you to collaborate with your manager to set a schedule that best supports your needs, your customers, and the team. As an Enterprise Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data pipelines that are essential for enabling data-driven decision-making across multiple aspects of the business. These data pipelines will be developed through multi-year efforts and will empower stakeholders to conduct rapid analyses, produce actionable insights, and address business questions that align with strategic priorities. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting data evaluations and enhancing the suite of analytical capabilities and tools available to the organization. You will work closely with data scientists and data engineers to build and deliver data-driven business solutions, ensuring that complex business requests are understood and translated into actionable insights. Your expertise in data modeling with Big Data tools such as Spark SQL and Azure Databricks will be vital in this process. Additionally, you will evaluate and leverage emerging tools and technologies to continuously improve our data architecture and capabilities.
