Cru is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to oversee the implementation and governance of data management goals, standards, best practices, processes, and technologies. This role is pivotal in participating in the planning, strategy, and governance of enterprise data and information management. The Enterprise Data Architect will serve as a liaison between various teams within Cru and its stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration regarding Enterprise Data Management. The position is based in Orlando, FL, and offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for a blend of in-office and remote work. In this role, you will lead the development of data strategy, governance, and management, focusing on the availability, usability, integrity, retention, and security of information and data utilized throughout the organization. You will be responsible for implementing the enterprise data management strategy, which includes defining business rules and providing control over how data is used across the enterprise. This involves translating the organization's practical objectives into actionable tasks and systems design. Additionally, you will participate in the Enterprise Architecture Team, assisting in creating roadmaps for data systems, evaluating data technologies, and identifying gaps in capabilities necessary for Cru to become a data-driven organization. Your responsibilities will also include designing the logical and physical structures of data systems, such as data warehouses, creating data models, and analyzing available data sources to align with the business's strategy and objectives. You will integrate new technologies into the overall data architecture, including cloud computing, data lakes, and artificial intelligence, while managing the development and maintenance of data dictionaries and glossaries to support non-technical system users. Furthermore, you will define, document, and maintain data standards for the organization and establish reference architecture patterns for others to follow in creating and improving data systems.
