The Enterprise Data Architect will play a critical role in shaping the data architecture and strategy for our software company based in Hicksville, New York. This position involves developing, implementing, and communicating an enterprise-level data architecture that encompasses data management for business operations and master data management. The architect will define the enterprise data architecture framework, establish standards, and promote best practices aimed at enhancing data quality, security, interoperability, and portability, as well as fostering a data-centric culture within the organization. In this role, the Enterprise Data Architect will be responsible for identifying both business and technical requirements, pinpointing pain points within the current data systems, and developing effective mitigation strategies. Collaboration with data providers, integrators, and consumers will be essential to improve overall data quality. The architect will lead comprehensive data architecture and technology gap analyses, highlighting current and future state needs, best practices, and potential solution offerings.
