About the position

The Enterprise Data Governance Intern at Zoox will support the Data Governance team in establishing and maintaining internal standards for data policies, including data gathering, storage, processing, and disposal. This role involves managing the integrity, usability, and security of enterprise systems, while also contributing to documentation, testing cycles, and training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing and new activities related to data governance, such as configuration management and data dictionaries.
• Create and maintain project documentation for business process flows and management reports.
• Share guidance and expertise with the organization regarding data governance practices.
• Participate in various testing cycles to support end-users.
• Facilitate meetings and training sessions as needed.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in data project lifecycles.
• Proficiency in Google Suites.
• Ability to communicate clearly and organize competing priorities.
• Ability to work under pressure and collaborate effectively.
• Proactive self-starter.
