About the position

At Freddie Mac, this role focuses on building an enterprise data privacy function that ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data throughout its lifecycle. The position involves collaboration with business and technology partners to implement data privacy governance strategies that align with the organization's strategic priorities and enhance analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining the domain's scope and partner with Division Chief Data Officers, Division Risk Officers, and Division Privacy Liaisons.
  • Translate business strategies into practical data privacy management strategies for the assigned domain.
  • Govern compliance with the enterprise control framework.
  • Lead aspects of the data privacy governance workstreams associated with the Data Privacy Strategy and Roadmap.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree or related experience.
  • General understanding of privacy obligations and terminology.
  • Familiarity with Federal and State privacy laws and regulations, including privacy impact assessments and data protection assessments.
  • Understanding of data privacy management and governance concepts.
  • Project management leadership skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of privacy tools such as OneTrust.
  • Knowledge of Tableau, SQL, and Catalog/Glossary/Metadata tools such as Collibra and Data Flux.
