About the position

The Enterprise Data Scientist role at CACI involves leveraging AI and machine learning to address predictive and operational challenges across various business functions. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sophisticated classical machine learning models, including advanced regression, classification, clustering, and dimensionality reduction techniques.
• Develop creative applications of Large Language Models (LLMs) to solve complex business problems and uncover new opportunities for growth and efficiency.
• Work closely with senior executives to conceptualize and prototype AI-powered business models.
• Design and build scalable, production-ready machine learning systems that automate predictive modeling across the enterprise.
• Leverage AWS cloud services (Amazon Athena, Redshift, Glue) and other cutting-edge tools to process and analyze massive datasets.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden patterns and opportunities within our vast data repositories.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for senior management decision-makers.
• Bring forth a well-rounded consulting approach - strong analytical, organizational and data management skills along with the ability to translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights for senior management decision-makers.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelors' Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience applying ML/AI in a business context.
• Deep expertise in classical machine learning algorithms and their mathematical foundations.
• Proven experience applying advanced NLP techniques and working with large language models (e.g., LLMs).
• Strong programming skills in Python, with extensive use of libraries such as scikit-learn, Pandas, NLTK, and Hugging Face Transformers.
• Demonstrated ability to develop novel ML/AI solutions that directly impact business outcomes.
• Experience presenting complex technical concepts to senior executives and translating them into strategic business initiatives.
• Ability to work in a time critical environment and prioritize workload effectively.
• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
• Ability to keep information organized and confidential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools to create compelling, data-driven narratives.
