About the position
The Enterprise Data Warehouse Developer at LCMC Health is responsible for analyzing technical requirements, evaluating database design, and creating database deliverables to support business intelligence and reporting products. This role requires minimal supervision and involves collaboration with various teams to ensure the development of high-quality data products that meet the needs of providers, staff, and executive leadership. The ideal candidate will be a team leader who sets best practices and processes for the team, while also mentoring other developers.
Responsibilities
- Analyze technical requirements and evaluate database design.
- Create database deliverables to support business intelligence and reporting products.
- Collaborate with BID team members on design and data modeling.
- Build data structures and processes to meet the needs of the BID team.
- Develop data products such as tables, DataMarts, and stored procedures.
- Design and implement ETL procedures for data intake from various sources.
- Monitor, tune, and analyze database performance.
- Assist in the development of work plans and task sequencing.
- Serve as a backup to related positions as needed.
Requirements
- 9 years of experience in IT with a High School Diploma
- 7 years of experience in IT with an Associate's Degree
- 5 years of experience required with a Bachelor's degree
- Epic Clarity Certification
- Strong analytical skills and ability to conceptualize complex requests
- Ability to create dashboards and reports
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Expertise in data architecture and automation processes
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of healthcare and clinical systems
- Knowledge of SQL, SSRS, SSIS, Tableau, Crystal Reports, and Epic
