About the position

The Account Executive, Enterprise Field at Alteryx is responsible for driving analytic-led digital transformation for customers and high-potential prospects. This role involves prospecting, qualifying, and closing opportunities by engaging with C-suite and executive-level stakeholders, while also fostering adoption across various business functions. The position requires building trusted advisor relationships and establishing Alteryx as the preferred analytics platform, creating new business opportunities through strategic collaboration with internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new business across multiple functional areas within a highly-targeted account list.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the customer's processes and problems, ensuring the right questions are asked and answered.
  • Develop relationships with multiple buying personas within the prospect account.
  • Connect prospect's business objectives with Alteryx solutions, deploying a customer-centric approach.
  • Effectively involve pre-sales and post-sales support using a disciplined approach.
  • Develop tailored account plans to ensure revenue target delivery and balanced growth.
  • Manage and grow a perpetual pipeline, collaborating with support organizations including marketing and alliance partners.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the Alteryx platform and product portfolio, effectively articulating the Alteryx value proposition.
  • Establish positive relationships based on knowledge of customer requirements and dedication to value.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of quota-carrying sales experience at a software/technology company.
  • Experience identifying and closing quick sales wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles.
  • Experience selling to and influencing C-level executives while building consensus among buying teams at Global 2000 companies.
  • Track record of qualifying and closing consultative/service-led sales, particularly multi-year and subscription-based services.
  • Exceptional time and people management skills to marshal resources and advance opportunities.
  • Well-versed in the data-analytics industry with strong knowledge of competitor products and capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
