About the position

The Enterprise HCM Consultant role focuses on selling Paychex's products and services by developing new client relationships and expanding the existing client base. The position aims to increase profits within the Core Sales, Human Resource Services Sales, or Major Market Sales organizations by understanding customer needs and presenting tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify customers' needs and present the Paychex solution to key stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Schedule appointments and visit potential and current referral sources to secure referrals to end users.
  • Prospect for new clients and new referral sources utilizing various marketing strategies such as telephone, direct mail, seminars, and current client visits.
  • Analyze customer needs and interests, determining appropriate products and referring to the appropriate party when necessary.
  • Complete and submit accurate new business paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity reports by agreed-upon dates.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems or complaints.
  • Project a positive image in representing the Corporation to clients and the community.
  • May be required to travel outside of geographical territory for conferences, training sessions, and/or area Zone meetings.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • 2 years of relevant sales/marketing experience.
