About the position

As an Enterprise Infrastructure Manager within PNC's Site Reliability Center, you will provide management-level network support and technical leadership in a 24/7 enterprise production environment. This role involves overseeing incident resolution, leading a team, and ensuring effective communication and documentation. You will focus on proactive network monitoring and driving root cause analysis for incidents, while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide management-level network support and technical leadership in a 24/7 environment.
• Function as a management escalation point within the network operations team.
• Oversee employee and system incident resolution and take escalations from the team.
• Ensure proactive network monitoring and knowledge documentation oversight.
• Drive root cause analysis on problem tasks assigned to the team.
• Lead shift staff meetings and provide initial staff escalations.
• Measure team and staff performance against KPIs and provide feedback for improvements.
• Foster a blameless culture focused on continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of network support experience at layer 1 through 3.
• Strong understanding of the OSI model and network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS).
• Experience with Cisco routers and switches, including troubleshooting and configuration.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to drive incident resolution and provide timely client updates.
• Excellent documentation skills for knowledge creation and ticket escalation.
