About the position

KPMG is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data and Integration Architect to join its Chief Digital Officer organization. This remote position focuses on facilitating organizational change through the development of data and integration strategies, enhancing efficiencies, and providing architectural leadership across various technology domains. The role emphasizes collaboration with project teams to implement solutions that align with business objectives and improve overall data management and integration practices.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate organizational change by researching data and integration technologies and defining technical strategies across portfolios.
• Conduct research and develop data and integration roadmaps, including product selection and project milestones.
• Communicate data and integration best practices through presentations and educational content.
• Evaluate business demands to determine appropriate data and integration technologies for projects.
• Provide solution-level technical design and architectural leadership, documenting logical and physical views across technology domains.
• Collaborate with project teams to assist in the delivery of solution implementation.

Requirements

• Minimum eight years of recent experience in information technology data and integration architecture supporting a SaaS and platform-centric strategy.
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Database Design Principles, Data Modeling, and Data Warehousing, including experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Deep knowledge of Enterprise Data Lake/Lakehouse and associated Integration tools, particularly Azure Data Lake.
• Proven ability to implement Data and Integration Architectures in complex organizations.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with common system integration methods and technologies including web services and microservices.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and CICD pipeline technologies.
• Strong ability to work with large datasets and provide meaningful business insights.
