About the position
The Enterprise Major Incident Manager will be responsible for overseeing the incident management lifecycle within a Fortune 500 distribution company. This role involves leading high-stakes bridge calls, coordinating critical system restorations, and ensuring effective communication during major outages. The position requires strong stakeholder management and a proactive approach to problem management to prevent future incidents.
Responsibilities
- Run high-stakes bridge calls during major outages.
- Coordinate critical system restorations.
- Own the full incident management lifecycle.
- Drive communication through ServiceNow.
- Manage stakeholder updates during incidents.
- Lead problem management initiatives to prevent future incidents.
- Monitor incidents and collaborate with teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of enterprise incident management experience
- ServiceNow hands-on experience
- Bridge call leadership/coordination
- ITIL process knowledge
- Experience managing major incidents impacting business services
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
Nice-to-haves
- ITIL certification
- Problem management experience
- Experience with RCA facilitation
- Enterprise change management exposure
- Metrics/KPI reporting experience
