About the position

The Enterprise Network Architect will provide data networking solutions and oversight for legacy telco services, including broadband internet circuits and cloud networking. This role requires extensive knowledge of data and network monitoring technologies and the ability to manage the lifecycle of data networking services from strategic planning to operations. The architect will also perform assessments of voice and data networking technologies and manage customer escalations.

Responsibilities

• Provide data networking solutions and oversight for legacy telco services.
• Manage the lifecycle of data networking services from strategic planning to operations.
• Perform technology and operational assessments to manage the legacy portfolio and create future roadmaps.
• Respond to and resolve customer/agency escalations.
• Specify business requirements for current and future network services.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of data and network monitoring technologies.
• Experience with networking incident management.
• Experience with commercial broadband circuits (e.g., Comcast).
• Ability to assist with the data networking services lifecycle.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in a State government/agency.
• Cloud networking experience.
• Experience with Thousand Eyes network monitoring tool.
