The Enterprise Operations Center Analyst position is a critical role within the organization, focusing on the monitoring and maintenance of network operations. This position is based in Richmond, VA, and is a contract role lasting for 12 months. The work schedule is set from Wednesday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with an additional Saturday shift each month under the same hours. You will work closely with various departments and customer groups to address telecommunications needs and ensure that all systems are functioning optimally. The ideal candidate will possess a basic understanding of IT networking and telecommunications, with experience in network operations centers and telecommunications transport infrastructure. You will need to demonstrate effective communication skills, as you will interact with both internal teams and external customers. The ability to prioritize tasks and respond to diverse demands is essential, as is the physical capability to lift up to 45 pounds and distinguish between colors. This position also requires a commitment to being available for on-call rotations, ensuring that network operations are maintained without interruption.
