About the position

The Enterprise Operations Center Analyst position is a critical role within the organization, focusing on the monitoring and maintenance of network operations. This position is based in Richmond, VA, and is a contract role lasting for 12 months. The work schedule is set from Wednesday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with an additional Saturday shift each month under the same hours. The role requires local candidates, but those willing to relocate should indicate this in their resume. The work will be conducted onsite at the TFF building downtown Richmond. As an Enterprise Operations Center Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of network systems and telecommunications infrastructure. This includes monitoring network performance, responding to alarms, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. You will work closely with various departments and customer groups to address telecommunications needs and ensure that all systems are functioning optimally. The role demands a strong technical aptitude, as you will be required to perform remote maintenance on enterprise equipment and analyze multiple alarm systems and trouble reports. The ideal candidate will possess a basic understanding of IT networking and telecommunications, with experience in network operations centers and telecommunications transport infrastructure. You will need to demonstrate effective communication skills, as you will interact with both internal teams and external customers. The ability to prioritize tasks and respond to diverse demands is essential, as is the physical capability to lift up to 45 pounds and distinguish between colors. This position also requires a commitment to being available for on-call rotations, ensuring that network operations are maintained without interruption.

Responsibilities
