About the position

At Regions, the Enterprise Operations Document Review Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that loan documentation is complete and accurate in accordance with State and Federal regulations, as well as Regions' internal policies and guidelines. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of the loan process and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The specialist will be responsible for reviewing loan documentation meticulously, ensuring that all necessary information is present and correctly formatted. This includes validating the documentation against the requirements set forth by both state and federal authorities, as well as the specific policies of Regions. In addition to reviewing documentation, the specialist will be tasked with completing system validations to execute loan documents effectively. This involves checking for any discrepancies or errors in the documentation and entering exceptions for any documentation or policy errors into the exception tracking system. Clear and concise written communication is vital in this role, as the specialist will need to inform relevant parties about any missing or incorrect document exceptions. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment, as the specialist will be expected to manage a high volume of documentation while maintaining accuracy and compliance. The role also requires tracking of time worked, and the specialist will be eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 per week, in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. This ensures that the specialist is compensated fairly for their time and effort, especially during peak periods of workload.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews loan documentation for accuracy

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Applicants will be expected to pass any assessment associated with the position
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
