About the position

At Regions, the Enterprise Operations Document Review Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that loan documentation is complete and accurate in accordance with State and Federal regulations, as well as Regions' internal policies and guidelines. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of the loan process and safeguarding private and personally identifiable information. The specialist will be responsible for reviewing loan documentation for accuracy, completing system validation to execute loan documents, and entering exceptions for documentation or policy errors into the exception tracking system. Clear and concise written communication is vital for addressing any missing or incorrect document exceptions, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and that the loan process remains efficient and compliant. The role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. The specialist will track their time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position may also be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, and the position can be performed remotely within a reasonable driving distance to Hoover, AL. Candidates with experience working with FHA and VA auditing are preferred, as this knowledge will enhance the accuracy and compliance of the loan documentation process.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews loan documentation for accuracy

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
