About the position

The Enterprise Program Manager for the State of Florida's Department of Transportation is responsible for leading large program and project efforts related to on-premises and cloud implementations. This role involves coordinating project teams, managing procurement documentation, overseeing technology programs, and ensuring timely completion of tasks while evaluating risks and impacts associated with projects. The position requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills to facilitate collaboration among various teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large program and project efforts for on-premises and cloud implementations.
  • Coordinate project team members and assign tasks.
  • Estimate time requirements and schedule project activities.
  • Report project status and evaluate impact analysis and risk factors.
  • Create procurement documents including Requests for Information and Invitations to Bid.
  • Oversee and manage technology programs and projects.
  • Monitor program and project activities to ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct analytical and organizational research for program demands and improvements.
  • Ensure all required documentation is created and maintained according to state requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with Application Services staff and management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Five years of experience in business, data, or systems analysis and/or project management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
  • Knowledge of PMBOK and best practices of project management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) certification is highly desired.
