About the position

The Enterprise Project Manager at Canonical is responsible for ensuring the success of complex IT projects by effectively managing stakeholder engagement, communication, and project execution. This role requires a strong background in software engineering and IT project management, with a focus on Agile methodologies. The Project Manager will lead cross-cultural and remote teams, driving project success while maintaining customer satisfaction and managing risks.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive project success through effective stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Lead cross-cultural, remote, and global project teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Manage risks and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Implement process improvements within enterprise IT programs.
• Build collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Solid IT project management experience in software engineering or information technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience leading cross-cultural and global project teams.
• Agile expertise and Project Management certification.
• Degree level education in Computer Science or a STEM field, ideally with an MBA or similar qualification.
