About the position

The Director, Enterprise Risk Data Layer Product Manager at Citi's Functions Technology is a senior management role responsible for overseeing the development and management of the Enterprise Risk Data Layer (ERDL), a centralized repository for enterprise risk management data. This position requires a blend of business expertise and technology knowledge to align product strategy with business objectives, manage product delivery, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will lead a team, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive innovative solutions to enhance risk management capabilities across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day product management for core products including product delivery and client communication strategies.
• Manage the strategic program roadmap for the ERDL and lead the team through the end-to-end product development lifecycle.
• Advocate for funding needed to meet capacity planning and proactively identify risks or issues impacting delivery.
• Identify technical risks and dependencies for the ERDL platform and drive mitigation paths.
• Define technical workstreams in the platform development project and identify necessary resources.
• Drive decision-making and solutioning with scrum teams and business teams to meet business and regulatory commitments.
• Manage stakeholders from enterprise architecture, third-party vendors, and risk management organizations to drive solutions for the ERDL.
• Collaborate with solution architects and data providers to create system architecture and data sourcing strategies for the ERDL.
• Create and prioritize the technical backlog based on business requirements and dependencies.
• Ensure adherence to Operations and Technology standards on program delivery, compliance, and risk management.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years of managerial experience.
• Relevant experience in Risk Management, including regulatory remediation initiatives.
• Solid understanding of banking regulations and supervisory expectations for large financial institutions.
• Observable and impactful delivery track record on business or risk function transformation.
• Subject Matter Expertise in risk and controls disciplines within technology processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate discussions with technical and non-technical partners.
• Passion for building products that solve business problems.
• Extensive experience working with cross-functional partners in risk management and technology.
