The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Information Technology Sr. Analyst will play a pivotal role within the bank's second line of defense, focusing on the development and implementation of operational risk management programs. This includes controls testing, issue management, and risk and control self-assessments (RCSA), as well as technology risk management. The position is part of the Enterprise and Operational Risk Management Group (ERM/ORM), which is dedicated to establishing and executing the bank's risk management framework. The ERM/ORM team is a growing organization that provides expert guidance, credible challenge, and effective oversight of risk-taking activities across the company. This role is critical in informing bank management and the Board of Directors about the inherent risks in their actions and decisions, as well as the enterprise impacts and opportunities for risk management. In this position, the analyst will proactively collaborate with business unit management and stakeholders to identify and assess various risks, including operational, technology, reputational, strategic, financial, and legal risks. The analyst will ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, corporate, and functional requirements, thereby supporting the bank's overall risk management strategy. The role requires a strong focus on enhancing the second line of defense Enterprise and Operational Risk Programs, providing guidance and effective challenge to the first line of defense, and leading walkthroughs of significant processes to ensure effective control design and operation. The analyst will also perform independent control testing activities, document results, and support the development of frameworks and standards for operational risk management requirements.
