About the position

The Enterprise Account Executive at Optimum is responsible for selling connectivity products and services to enterprise-level companies. This role involves both acquiring new accounts and managing existing ones, with a focus on meeting and exceeding monthly sales quotas. The position requires proactive relationship building, understanding customer needs, and effectively presenting product offerings to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Fiber and Coax based Internet, Voice and TV to enterprise businesses to obtain and exceed a monthly quota.
  • Conduct daily activities aimed at establishing new customer relationships each week while developing new revenue opportunities with existing customer base.
  • Deepen existing customer relationships through upgrades and additional services opportunities with named accounts to achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Process marketing leads for new opportunities with mid-market non-strategic accounts and prospects.
  • Become familiar and adept in presenting core products.
  • Stay updated with industry changes, new product offerings, and competitor actions.
  • Attend and complete all required sales, product, and process training sessions.
  • Submit weekly sales forecasts, expense reports, call reports, and other reports on time as required by Sales Management.
  • Utilize Sales Force Automation system (Salesforce.com) and database tools to enter all sales activity daily.
  • Work with Operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a positive attitude contributing to an overall positive atmosphere at Optimum.
  • Work within company guidelines and seek assistance from supervisors when needed.

Requirements

  • College degree or relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years prior sales experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and close sales opportunities consistently.
  • Highly organized and data-driven with the ability to accurately forecast sales results.
  • Ability to make professional presentations and communicate complex technical issues in layman's terms.
  • Solid understanding of telecommunications and Information technology concepts.
  • Proven history of excellent customer service values and commitment.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
