About the position

The U.S. Sales Development organization at Amplitude is seeking an Enterprise Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic New York team of Ampliteers. This role is pivotal as the first point of contact for prospect and customer engagement, focusing on pipeline generation efforts. The Sales Development team employs diverse outreach strategies, engages in strategic research, and personalizes interactions to collaborate effectively with Account Executives. The primary goal is to expand our footprint within both new and existing accounts, ultimately driving revenue for the organization. As an SDR, you will play a fundamental role in the success and growth of our business by sourcing, establishing, and nurturing relationships with Fortune 500 executives through various channels including phone, email, and social outreach. Amplitude's SDR program is designed to equip you with the foundational expertise necessary to excel in your current role while also preparing you for future opportunities through comprehensive training and development. You will be expected to be in the office three days a week, with the flexibility to choose your days. Your responsibilities will include creating new opportunities in the Enterprise segment through prospecting, outbound efforts, networking, and attending conferences and in-person events. Your primary focus will be to secure new logos in your designated regions, conducting thorough research and crafting targeted campaigns to convert key inbound and outbound prospects. You will also need to become well-versed in Amplitude's product lines to effectively support discovery calls and evaluation cycles with prospective customers. Collaboration is key in this role; you will work closely with team members, particularly Account Executives, SDR Leadership, and SDR Enablement, to identify best practices and share valuable feedback. Exceeding quarterly and annual targets will be a critical measure of your success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Create new opportunities in the Enterprise segment through prospecting, outbound efforts, networking, and attending conferences and in-person events.
  • Focus on landing new logos in designated regions.
  • Conduct research and craft campaigns to convert key inbound intent prospects and key outbound prospects.
  • Become knowledgeable about Amplitude's product lines to support discovery calls and evaluation cycles with prospective customers.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, particularly Account Executives, SDR Leadership, and SDR Enablement.
  • Proactively identify best practices and share feedback with the team.
  • Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
