About the position

Ideagen is a pivotal player in ensuring safety and quality across various sectors, from aviation to healthcare. As an Enterprise Sales Development Representative, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to connect with clients who rely on our software solutions to enhance their operations. This role is crucial as you will be engaging with some of the largest Government, Defense, and AEC companies globally, acting as a trusted ambassador for Ideagen. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities, thereby contributing significantly to our revenue growth. In this position, you will conduct outbound prospecting activities, utilizing various channels such as cold calling, emails, and social media to generate leads. You will identify key decision-makers within target organizations and develop strategic relationships to understand their business needs and challenges. Your ability to effectively communicate Ideagen's value proposition and key differentiators will be essential in persuading prospective clients to consider our software solutions. Collaboration with the sales team will be a key aspect of your role, as you will work together to develop and execute sales strategies and campaigns. Engaging in consultative selling will require you to actively listen to prospects' requirements and recommend appropriate solutions. You will also utilize CRM software to manage and track your sales activities, ensuring that you maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities. Continuous professional development will be encouraged through participation in sales meetings and training programs, allowing you to enhance your product knowledge and sales skills. Staying updated on industry trends and competitor activities will also be vital in identifying new business growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in the software industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with potential clients.
  • Excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
