The Enterprise Sales Director at Confluence is a pivotal role focused on driving sales of SaaS-based data, analytics, and regulatory reporting solutions within the financial services sector. This position requires a seasoned sales professional with over 8 years of experience in business development, particularly in engaging with senior decision-makers at global service providers. The role emphasizes solution selling, relationship building, and achieving sales goals through a structured sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Driving enterprise sales process from identification to proposal to negotiation to close.
  • Achieving sales goals through prioritizing activity and sales pipeline.
  • Partnering with networks to develop and deliver tailored business cases demonstrating the value or ROI for solutions.
  • Presenting solution benefits through in-person visits, industry conferences, and web-based demonstrations.
  • Maintaining a thorough working knowledge of the benefits and pricing for all solutions and services offered by Confluence and competitors.
  • Leveraging Salesforce.com to capture insights, notes, and context from meetings, calls, and emails for effective forecasting and management of the sales pipeline.
  • Staying current on industry trends and developing in-depth knowledge of clients/prospects to educate them about Confluence solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited University or equivalent industry experience.
  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, including selling software solutions to large global financial institutions.
  • Ability to network and build relationships with senior leaders at top global service providers/third party administrators.
  • Proven experience in a high velocity sales environment with multi-tasking ability.
  • Strong written and oral communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • In-person and virtual presentation skills, professionalism, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to engage with prospects to learn critical information about their businesses and provide analysis of complex business issues.
  • Ability to work well and creatively under pressure and with deadlines.
  • Strong ability to learn new market, data, and technology concepts.
