About the position

The position involves designing and conducting Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) related to security systems technologies, collaborating with various teams to enhance the overall security posture of the organization. The role requires analyzing current technologies, recommending upgrades, and creating security roadmaps aligned with organizational needs. Additionally, the position includes coordinating with management and IT architects to implement security solutions for both cloud and on-premise technologies, while also ensuring effective management of technology security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) for security systems technologies.
• Collaborate with various MIS teams to enhance the overall security posture.
• Work with partners to execute penetration testing and red/purple team exercises.
• Participate in tabletop exercises for incident response and recovery.
• Analyze technologies and recommend upgrades based on organizational needs.
• Coordinate with management and IT architects to design system solutions.
• Create short and long-term security roadmaps based on strategic requirements.
• Define and review reports to ensure program objectives are met.
• Proactively intervene to correct problems when encountered.
• Use metrics to improve processes and service delivery.
• Assess the organization's current and future technology needs.
• Set direction and lead improvements in techniques and methodologies.

Requirements

• Associates Degree and ten (10) years of experience in security systems technologies and relevant certifications; OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field and eight (8) years of experience; OR Bachelor's Degree and six (6) years of experience with relevant certifications; OR Master's Degree and six (6) years of experience; OR Master's Degree and five (5) years of experience with relevant certifications.

Nice-to-haves

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC.
• Experience with Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM) solutions like Tenable or Qualys.
• Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) solutions.
• Experience with Attack Surface Management (ASM) solutions.
• Experience working with managed service providers.
• Active participation in security organizations like ISC2, ISACA, SANS.
