About the position

The Enterprise Select Account Executive for Financial Services at Talkdesk is a results-driven sales professional focused on acquiring new logo accounts within the financial services sector. This role emphasizes strategic value selling, collaboration, and operational excellence to drive revenue growth and expand the client portfolio. The ideal candidate will engage with C-level executives, develop strategic account plans, and leverage internal and external resources to maximize sales potential.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and secure new logo accounts by effectively positioning our disruptive SaaS solutions to C-level and other financial services senior executives.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive successful outcomes and showcase our competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to advance deal cycles and maximize close potential.
  • Creatively generate leads for new logo opportunities and diversify client portfolio to ensure consistent quota achievement.
  • Engage with channel partners to maximize sales potential and enhance lead generation.
  • Drive the sales cycle from pipeline to closure, engaging all stakeholders and negotiating effectively.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and engage in executive-level communication to influence decision-makers and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Keep updated on market trends, learn your prospective customers' business and maintain a strong understanding of our SaaS technology and competitive landscape.

Requirements

  • 5+ year proven track record of exceeding sales targets selling SaaS solutions to the financial services sector
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial services industry trends and challenges
  • Experience selling disruptive or transformational SaaS solutions to C-level executives
  • Strong understanding of strategic selling techniques and ability to craft tailored messages that align to prospective customer business and economic drivers
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage executive-level audiences
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales productivity tools
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
