About the position

The Enterprise Services Engineer (Exchange SME) position at Computer Technologies Consultants, Inc. (CTC) involves providing technical leadership and direction in implementing enterprise information and data management practices for a US Navy Enterprise Networks program. The role focuses on improving IT processes and maximizing readiness by delivering optimal products and services to meet user requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and engage in information/data management projects including the Enterprise Information Architecture, information models and flows, data dictionaries, data standards, and data quality standards and processes.
• Develop and maintain the logical Enterprise Information Architecture for seamless information interoperability of systems.
• Create enterprise models incorporating master and reference data.
• Develop data sharing standards and architect scalable service-oriented solutions.
• Create and read application modeling languages/techniques diagrams (e.g., UML, OML, entity relationship modeling, DFDs).
• Develop and implement IT architecture plans, Enterprise Information Architecture standards and guidelines, and strategic plans.
• Perform conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling with data modeling tools and database design in complex environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 8 - 10 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6 - 8 years of experience.
• Proven experience in developing information architectures aligned with information lifecycle management.
• Experience in transactional data modeling, dimensional modeling, and object-oriented modeling.
• Solid understanding of transaction and information systems, data warehouses, data marts, ODS, MDM methodologies, and ETL technologies.
• Proven experience creating data dictionaries and defining metadata management approaches.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in developing scalable design of entities using advanced data structures (e.g., tall tables).
• Knowledge of application modeling languages/techniques.
