About the position

The Enterprise Shared Services Program Manager II is responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of strategic and transformational enterprise-wide programs and projects that are complex and large in scope. This role involves collaboration with leadership, management, and stakeholders to ensure effective program governance and administration, while synchronizing the work of cross-functional project teams. The Program Manager serves as the primary point of contact between executive leadership and the program team, ensuring that program objectives are met and that communication flows effectively among all parties involved.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of strategic and transformational enterprise-wide programs and projects.
  • Collaborate with leadership, management, and stakeholders to ensure effective program governance.
  • Synchronize the work of cross-functional project teams and provide oversight of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between executive leadership and the program team.
  • Facilitate processes to accomplish complex program objectives and manage change.
  • Prepare project executive summaries for review and approval by the Investment Review Board/Leadership Team.
  • Manage the creation of definitive project execution plans and business cases.
  • Identify PM-related training needs and conduct trainings.
  • Promote cultural and organizational change to achieve strategic outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • At least 6 years of relevant Project Management, Program Management, Health Care Administration, Research or Clinical field work experience.
  • Experience facilitating complex decision making among multiple executive stakeholders.
  • Experience in vendor/contract management and negotiations.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple, large scale, diverse and complex projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Visio, Publisher); HTML.

Nice-to-haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions and FHIR standards.
