Enterprise Software Embedded Tester

About the position

As an Embedded Tester for Enterprise Software, you are responsible for the hands on testing of products, by working with Enterprise Software Group in order to improve the overall quality of software delivered to the Software Quality Assurance Department.

Responsibilities

• Performs functional testing of products before they are delivered to Software Quality Assurance.
• Leads test projects.
• Works closely with Engineering teams to ensure total product quality.
• Creates test plans and procedures for software/hardware testing activities.
• Investigates and troubleshoots Escalated Customer Issues reported by Technical Support and Software Quality Assurance.
• Contacts customers to obtain facts about incorrect product behavior.
• Trains or instructs fellow co-workers, consults on Test Projects as required.
• Utilizes all methods of testing including functional, exploratory, performance, usability, and acceptance.
• Captures, analyzes and summarizes test results with written reports.
• Contribute to the tracking and resolution of bugs using JIRA software.
• Observes and adheres to DMP Data Classification Standard.
• Observes company policies.
• Continuously strives to find processes that create improved efficiency while maintaining conformance to requirements, maintains confidentiality.
• Contributes to team effort by performing other duties as assigned.
