About the position
The Enterprise Solutions Architect / Developer is a senior role responsible for the architectural design and implementation of frameworks and tooling necessary for the successful operation of applications on Company Cloud, as well as for On-Demand and On-Premise customers. This position involves deep engagement with Middleware and Applications products, overseeing lifecycle frameworks such as installation, provisioning, patching, and upgrades. The architect will lead projects that address complex technical challenges, providing significant customer value while collaborating with global teams and executives.
Responsibilities
- Architectural design and implementation of frameworks and tooling for applications on Company Cloud.
- Develop a deep understanding of Middleware and Applications products.
- Oversee lifecycle frameworks including installation, provisioning, patching, and upgrades.
- Lead projects that solve complex technical problems and provide substantial customer value.
- Interact daily with key architects, executives, and leaders.
- Work with team members across the globe.
Requirements
- 15-20 years of software engineering and technical leadership experience required.
- Deep architectural leadership experience in SaaS/Cloud and enterprise software solutions.
- BS or MS degree in computer science or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
- High degree of competence in written and verbal communication skills, including to executive audiences.
- Extensive Java experience, particularly on the server side.
- Experience with Weblogic deployments, debugging, and scripting.
- Demonstrated ability to write high-quality functional specifications and design documents.
