About the position

The Enterprise Solutions & Implementation Engineer position at OneTouchPoint is a critical role responsible for providing technical sales and solutions engineering support across various industries, including healthcare, healthcare insurance, financial services, manufacturing, and retail/franchise. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to empathize with clients to discern their true technical requirements. The engineer will engage with customers and prospects using compelling presentations, demos, and prebuilt content that highlight OneTouchPoint's unique value propositions. The position involves leading deal opportunity reviews, actively working on proposals, and ensuring the success of opportunities through strategic planning and execution. In addition to customer engagement, the Enterprise Solutions & Implementation Engineer will be responsible for conducting client demonstrations, technical deep dives, and training sessions. This includes setting up sites in both staging and production environments, conducting quality assurance, and training support teams to handle account needs post-launch. The engineer will also provide technical sales support, including system and configuration suggestions, project execution, and risk analysis. Collaboration with various internal teams, such as sales, IT, product, and marketing, is essential to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project scopes and requirements. The role requires the engineer to maintain a liaison with customers and internal departments to facilitate scope creation activities and ensure that all requirements are captured and communicated effectively. The engineer will also be responsible for organizing activities and ensuring that all necessary documentation, such as quotes and testing documents, is completed accurately. Continuous improvement initiatives within the Solutions Engineer team are expected, with the engineer participating in projects aimed at enhancing business processes and outcomes. Overall, this position is pivotal in driving customer satisfaction and achieving sales goals through effective technical solutions and support.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers and prospects using compelling content and demos that highlight OneTouchPoint's differentiators.
  • Lead and participate in deal opportunity reviews, proposing strategies for success.
  • Conduct client demonstrations, technical deep dives, and training sessions.
  • Train support teams to handle account needs post-launch.
  • Provide technical sales support and consulting, including system and configuration suggestions.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales teams and business units to achieve common goals.
  • Serve as the liaison between clients and IT to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Ensure all requirements are captured and communicated with customers and IT.
  • Maintain opportunity history with all required documentation and system entries.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Solutions Engineer team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of proven work experience in a related field, preferably in healthcare, healthcare insurance, financial services, manufacturing, or retail/franchise.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience with Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with SaaS-based technology preferred.
  • Current valid U.S. driver's license required.
  • Ability to frequently travel within North America, occasionally up to 20%.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service, business development, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent technical communication skills, both written and presentation.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to follow direction and take instruction.
