About the position

The Chief Enterprise Technology Architect will lead architectural initiatives for a prominent state department in Georgia, focusing on enhancing safety, sustainability, and mobility within transportation systems. This role requires collaboration with executive leadership and stakeholders to align IT initiatives with organizational goals, fostering innovation and continuous improvement across the IT division.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise architecture strategy.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather insights and drive technology adoption.
• Facilitate the creation of enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
• Lead research initiatives exploring emerging technologies and their applications.
• Mentor Solutions Architects and enhance the technical capabilities of IT staff.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, preferably in government/transportation.
• Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, data analytics, AI, and IoT.
• Experience in leading digital transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of transportation systems and smart city concepts is a plus.
