About the position

The Chief Enterprise Technology Architect at the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) will lead the architectural initiatives and drive innovation across the organization. This role is pivotal in shaping the future technology landscape, ensuring that the enterprise architecture aligns with GDOT's strategic goals and enhances transportation solutions. The architect will leverage technology to improve safety, sustainability, and mobility within Georgia's transportation system.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule team resources for projects.
• Conduct status reporting and ensure completion of required documentation.
• Analyze and develop work or project plans for team assignments.
• Implement solutions based on analysis.
• Supervise subordinates and manage team dynamics.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).

• Years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on government or transportation sectors.
